Arjit Taneja is a popular television actor, who is famously known as Purab in Kumkum Bhagya.
He has received many accolades for his stint in Kumkum Bhagya.

Arjit was born on 10 November 1992 in Delhi.
Tanja’s father is a lawyer and he has one elder sister Tanvi Bajaj.
He received B.A in Computer Programming from the University of Delhi.
In November 2010 he joined the modeling agency, Elite Model Management Indian Pvt Ltd.
Then in 2012 he moved from Delhi to Mumbai.



Arjit started his journey with the show Channel V’s The serial in 2013.
Then he stepped into MTV’s famous reality show Splitsvilla Season 6.
After returning from Spiltsvilla, Arjit got many offers from television.
He played a cameo in Sakshi Tanwar’s Bade Ache Lagte Hain.
Then he signed the Zee Tv’s much popular soap Kumkum Bhagya.
Arjit playing the role of Purab, which is a parallel lead of the show.
The show gave much exposure to him and he garnered much fan base.
Arjit quit Kumkum Bhagya in 2017 to explore his career further.
He was then seen in Sony TV’s Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do.



He has also hosted the show  Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
Currently, Arjit working for Indonesian show Nadin.
He will be soon seen in Zee TV’s upcoming show Kalire.

Arjita Taneja and Mrunal Thakur who played the Purab and Bulbul in Kumkum Bhagya were known to be dating each other.
However, the duo denied these rumours.
